La bataille de Reines (French battle of queens), combat or combat de Vaches de Reines (in Valle d'Aosta patois of the bataille vatse) is a folk event that takes place every year in Valle D'Aosta. The most popular breeds of cows are fighting for the Eringer and the Val d'Aosta black spotted.
